Peak Performance Golf Swing: The modern golf swing emphasizes a back swing that is characterized by a large shoulder turn with restricted hip turn. (not user friendly)

Peak Performance Golf Swing
.
Research has demonstrated that maximal spinal rotation is not required to place the torso and extremities into proper position for an effective downswing.
Dr. David R. Seaman's research (1998 Sports Chiropractic and Rehabilitation)
clearly demonstrates that a significant reduction in torso rotation did not reduce club-head velocity at impact. In fact, it was determined that less torso rotation and a shorter swing allowed for more consistent club-head velocity at ball impact. "Therefore, it is appropriate to recommend that golfers shorten the length of their backswing, minimize torso rotation, and refine the timing of the weight transfer to maximize the condition of elastic energy." "According to available golf literature only PGA Master Professional Don Trahan (the swing surgeon)advocated the swing method described in this report"

Golf Movement & Tempo Class
This is not a ball striking golf lesson, this is a series of four classes designed to introduce the mind and body to the fundamental golf movements and tempo necessary to achieve a repeatable, efficient pain-free golf swing.
Amazingly beneficial to beginners, and those golfers that have been at it long enough to have a head full of swing thoughts that can get in the way of an effortless set-up and swing routine.

Golf Movement 101

This class will teach a basic set-up routine that includes the approach, alignment, and golf posture. We will then add these basic golf movements to a golf tempo, making the sequence of events in the set-up routine easy and repeatable.

Golf Movement 102

This class will build on the set up routine of the 101 class and add the basic movements and tempo for the first part of a confident, repeatable swing. We introduce some practice tools to a take-a-way, a transition and the follow-through movements of the Chip/Putting stroke, and a finesse swing (the pitch to the green shots).

Golf Movement 103

This class will review the first two classes and add special practice clubs and target to the learning process. The confidence and timing in your swing will naturally unfold as you learn the sequence, tempo and movements necessary for the mid-iron shots (your approach shots to the green from the fairway).

Golf Movement 104

We bring all the elements of the previous classes together with the concept of alignment, impact and follow through to experience the flow, the feeling and the confidence of an efficient golf swing. You can now start hitting some balls with your best chance of success, enjoyment and most of all, confidence in your swing.
